In Love: Missoni for Target

I am obsessed with the new Missoni for Target collection! I am a huge fan of Missoni's timeless zig-zag signature design. This new collection for Target includes everything from clothes to plates, pillows, mugs, laptop cases, shoes, make-up bags, blankets and even a bicycle is covered in the Missoni zig-zag print. There are 400 pieces to this collection and they are all reasonably priced between $2.99 to $599.99. My absolute favorite is the bicycle..... imagine a sassy ride in the park in your Missoni bike! I can't help to get excited about the rain boots too! Checkout some of my favorite items below and mark your calendars as the Missoni for Target collection debuts September 13th. Headpiece Jewels

Don't get in between a girl and her headpiece jewels.....this 65 carat headpiece is valued at $2.5 million! After looking at Kim Kardashian's over the top wedding pictures, where she was literally dripping in diamonds ($10 million to be exact), I could not stop staring at Kim's diamond headpiece. The headpiece by Lorraine Shwartz was a strand of diamonds which featured larger tear-dropped shaped diamonds hanging on Kim's beautifully bronzed forehead. Some may say it looked a little belly dancer-ish, but hey I'm all about the belly dancing and secretly wish she had some at her wedding. I have to give her credit for taking a risk on what is considered traditional and embracing her heritage. She truly looked like an Armenian princess! It was a nice twist on traditional wedding tiaras too. Lorraine Shwartz did a fabulous job on this head bling. And at 2.5 million, Ladies you better start saving for your headpiece bling now! Luckily for Kim this was her "something borrowed." I also love the headpiece Alicia Keys wore on her wedding day. She embodied a true Goddess. My verdict on wedding headpiece jewels is.........Love It! Tres chic Ladies!

Bringing Sexy Back

Today I'm bringing sexy back. I mean what else is there to do? I was reading one of my favorite blogs this morning, The Daily Love and I came across the post Do you find me Sexy?....The real secret to Sexiness! Of course I wanted to read more. After reading this it made me realize that we are all sexy in our own way. Each and every one of us has something about us that makes us sexy and irresistible. You just might not know it, but you do! Like Kurt Blackson says "Sexy is not something you can buy. Sexy is Soul. True Sexy is who you are BEING. It is not something you DO. The more connected you are to your true Self, the sexier you will become and the more alive you will feel. It's about how you feel about yourself. Then your Soul shines so brightly through you that you radiate the force of the Spirit." Wow how powerful is that? When you are authentic and let your true self shine from the inside out people will sense and feel it. When you walk into a room all eyes will be on you, not on your fabulous shoes....because everyone will be attracted to your radiance. Looks has nothing to do with being sexy and neither do material things. The truth is you don't need material things to show the world you're bringing sexy back! Just BE your true self, BE authentic and surrender to your Soul. Before you know it people will be so attracted to the energy you're giving out that you won't know what to do with all of that sexiness! So everyday when you wake up look at your sexy self in the mirror and tell yourself "I am infinite, My Soul is Free and I am Sexy." Love yourself first, foremost and always. Then just let your soul shine on.......it will do wonders.

The Fringe Handbag

My favorite accessory this summer....the fringe handbag. Yes men hate them, but what do they know right?! I simply adore fringe anything! And this bag is perfect for the summer. Just throw on a dress, jumpsuit, shorts or a skirt....add some wedges, accessorize with a fringe handbag and you're ready to go. I recently purchased two fringe handbags from a local boutique, one in brown leather and one in black. Obsessed? You bet. I especially like the bright colored fringe bags below. The electric blue and yellow look stunning and are perfect for a night on the town. The yellow bag is the Tory Burch 'Sawla' fringe clutch and retails for about $350.  I also love how miss Kim K. paired her Chanel fringe bag with a leopard print jumpsuit......so boho chic!

Cool Suave Style

This summer is all about cool, suave style.  The summer of the 1960's is back! From wide leg jeans to fringe bags to well....just about everything. For my first blog on men's fashion I thought why not take it back to the 1960's! And what better way then to take some inspiration from one of my favorite scenes from the movie Catch Me If You Can. Living the jetset lifestyle Mr. DiCaprio is sporting the 1960's style just right!  In the scene below he is wearing a checkered button down shirt, slicked back hair and wayfarer sunglasses. Men take note this summer because if you remember Leo was quite the ladies man in this movie. You too can sport the same style with the Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses below which retail for $159. If only Leonardo came with the sunglasses too....hey a girl can dream right?!
